Greeting cards
Though I've missed a few days of blog entries this month, that doesn't mean I've been lazing away the days under a sun-shade. Son's shift to a new house in Gisborne has us doing the round-trip every second day, with the dual purpose of clearing our house of his remaining chattels and, putting in some hard yards emptying and disposing of cartons to help unclutter his new abode while he is at work. Yesterday, I nearly knocked myself out in the heat, shovelling soil rubble to produce a temporary ramp to his garage. Pending the laying of a proper driveway, his very low-slung car couldn't get in and out of the garage without re-damaging the undercarriage parts which have only just been completed after his accident just before xmas. Got home about 7pm yesterday and, thought about doing a blog after dinner. But, the thought only lingered for a nano-second. I was just too exhausted.
On other days, I've been scratching around designing 'e-greeting cards' for my wife's relatives who mostly reside in W.A. Her favorite niece's husband has a birthday tomorrow, followed by their wedding anniversary the next day. That's what I've been doing today. To prove it ... the cover design for his birthday card comprises today's cartoon.
'Two birds with one stone' is sometimes the way to go!
