Toy stories again ...
Very drab and overcast in southern parts today ... precursor of the tail end of the depression which has caused heavy rain in NSW of late. The bureau is predicting a wet week-end followed by a couple of days of showers before we get a brief return of the 'indian summer' next week. All down-hill after that I expect.
Anyway, the news matches the weather for greyness and lack of sparkle. So, back to childish things temporarily ...

No Ingrid. I'm acting childishly all the year round. Almost never watch cartoons on TV these days. Tho' there are a few of the newer ones I find attractive, the influence of Japanese manga is everywhere on the various kid's channels ... and, frankly, I've never liked it much.
Recently, I agreed to do a couple of 'pokemons' style 'toons for an 8 year old son of an acquaintance. The first thing I had to do was discover what the hell 'pokemons' ARE!
During the depths of winter, I will doubtless spend a bit of time in front of the 'idiot box'. However, generally, it will be to watch live Major League baseball, which is carried on several cable and, at least one of the free to air digital channels. Luckily, there are quite a few large shopping malls around our area. That's where we usually go to maintain our daily walking regime during the bitter chills.
Rim, maybe it's too late in the evening or I am just too tired because I worked about 10 hours today. I just wonder what are you doing when the weather is bad: back to childish things ? Watching cartoons ?
