5 Forwarding a message
When you forward an email, you should DELETE all of the other addresses that appear in the body of the message. You MUST click the ‘Forward’ button first, then you will have full editing capabilities against the body and headers of the message. If you don't click on ‘Forward’ first, you won't be able to edit the message at all. Highlight all of the other addresses and delete them, backspace them, cut them, whatever it is you know how to do. By deleting email addresses in the body of the message, the possibility of passing on viruses through these email addresses is avoided. Then treat the email like a normal one – type in your recipient in the ‘To:’ field, a message in the message pane, then send it. A right-pointing arrow will appear in the envelope icon beside the message header after it is forwarded.
