7 How do I post an image on my profile page?

The last page was about posting a blog on your profile page, this is about posting images. You can post up to 10 images, and this album will appear on the right side of the blog. Each image can have a caption, if you like.

To post an image, click 'Post an Image', at the top right of your profile page. (Log in, then click on 'Talk about... Me')

The page that appears is titled "(Username)'s Image Gallery" and underneath are spaces for 10 photos. For each photo, you will need to click on 'Choose File'. Notice underneath some helpful information: the maximum file size is 5MB, and it can accept extensions: jpg; jpeg; gif and png.

Once you've clicked 'Choose file', you need to choose the photo file you want to upload. The window that opens shows you the folder which you used last, to attach a file somewhere (maybe an email or something). If you can't see the photo file you want to use in the list shown, you will need to navigate around in that window until you do find the photo file you want to use. (A good place to look might be under My Documents / My Pictures, however you know where you have saved your photos, and each person is different!)

Once you have found the photo, double click on it and the window will disappear. WAIT, and you will see the photo file name appear next to where you clicked on the 'choose file' button. Once you see the photo file name appear, click on 'Upload" (immediately to the right). You will see an icon appear, showing that the photo is uploading. When it has finished uploading, you'll see the photo appear at the left hand side, and a new field open called 'Description'. This is where you can type in the caption. Once you've typed in the caption, SCROLL DOWN TO THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE AND CLICK "POST"!!! (Yes, I intended to write that in capitals, because it is all too easy to click on the next button instead, but that is actually the 'Delete' button, and that deletes the photo. So then you have to start all over again!

You should see, after clicking 'Post', that you have been taken back to your Profile Page, and you photo and caption are now showing. Congratulations! You've now uploaded your photo!

(By the way, you can upload all 10 photos at one time, if you like - don't feel as though you have to upload them all separately. Just make sure you can see each photo, and its accompanying caption, before moving on to the next 'Choose file'.)

4. Click 'Upload' AFTER you see the file name appear; wait until it's uploaded

5. Add a description (caption)
