2 Getting the right version of Skype for you

To download Skype, you need to go to ‘www.skype.com’ on the internet. You can then choose which version of Skype suits your needs. You will notice than there are several different versions; skype to skype calls are free, but calls to landlines or mobile phones are not. You could also use the ‘Business’ version of skype, if you s desire. Navigate your way through the site until you have found the version you want to download. The following instructione refer to the Skype 4.1 version for Windows, however on the menu on the far right  of their screen, you will see other versions for your computer (Windows (Business version); Mac OS X and Linux), for your mobile (Windows Mobile, Nokia N800/N810, Nokia N900, Skype Lite, iPhone and Skype on PSP®) for Skype built-in phones (WiFi phones, Cordless phones and the 3 Skypephone) and finally for Beta versions (Windows and Mac OS X).
